# Local Evidence Lead## Job Introduction**Salary: Grade, PO6 £53,460 - £54,495 Fixed Term 31/3/2027, 37 hours per week, Based in Bradford.**We are seeking a Local Evidence Lead to play a key role in transforming children’s services by embedding evidence-informed practice across local pathways. Working closely with local leaders and commissioners, you will champion the use of Practice Guides and evidence-based interventions, ensuring these approaches are effectively integrated into service design and delivery. This work is closely aligned with the DfE Families First Partnership Programme and Giving Every Child the Best Start in Life.As the lead for our work as a Foundations Partner Place, you will coordinate the local Evidence into Practice programme. This will include assessing the current service offer for children and families, identifying priority areas for development, and shaping a shared programme of work with Foundations. You will collaborate with senior leaders across the local authority, wider stakeholders, and Foundations colleagues to ensure that evidence-based approaches lead to meaningful and measurable improvements in outcomes for children and young people.The post holder will closely with Born in Bradford (BiB), an internationally recognised research programme focused on understanding and improving the health and wellbeing of families. BiB collaborates with local authority, health, education and voluntary sector partners to design, deliver and evaluate large scale programmes that improve population outcomes. Building on the existing evaluation and learning, you will also have access to expert methodological support from the Bradford Centre for Health Data Science and the Co Production and Peer Research (CoPPeR) network, both hosted within BiB.Working for the Bradford Children and Families Trust offers the opportunity to work with some great people who are passionate about delivering change in a city whose culture offers as much diversity as it’s geography. Lead the local delivery of EBIs and Practice Guide recommendations, ensuring alignment with assessed population needs and system priorities.2. Build capacity and overcome implementation barriers by engaging senior leaders and stakeholders.3. Develop and manage local implementation plans, ensuring fidelity and sustainability.4. Facilitate strategic partnerships and convene multi-agency working groups.5. Support data-driven decision-making and monitor progress through appropriate metrics.6. Champion equity of access and address racial disparities in service delivery.7. Share learning across regions and contribute to national impact activities.8.
