The Role

We are searching for an experienced Lighting Technician to join our team at Direct Digital as an Operations Equipment Controller in Park Royal, London!

You’ll play a key role in all areas of our lighting operations department, including equipment prep, goods‑in and dispatch. This is a permanent, full‑time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday). The hours of work are based on an 8‑hour rotational shift pattern, covering our operating hours of 7 am to 7.30 pm.

Your responsibilities will include

• Accurately pick, prepare, and test a diverse range of lighting products ensuring they meet operational standards.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload vehicles with minimal supervision, ensuring swift turnaround times to keep our operations running smoothly.
• Ensure that all items are correctly maintained, function safely, and completed kits are returned to their designated warehouse locations.
• Proactively communicate with supervisors to address any equipment‑related issues, contributing to a seamless workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized work environment, strictly adhering to safety protocols and contributing to efficient equipment dispatch and accurate inventory management.
