Our thriving London office is looking for a Legal Secretary to jointhe Labour & Employment Practice Group. We need you to be anorganised, professional individual who has a "can do"attitude and willing to go that extra mile to help colleagues at alltimes.
Our Team
You will be supporting the Labour & Employment practice groupproviding secretarial and administration support. You'll be reportinginto the London office Secretarial Services Manager and will beworking alongside Partners and Associates and other Secretaries.Occasionally you may be expected to provide support to other teams asand when required.
This role would be ideal for someone who is an experienced secretary,preferably in Labour & Employment, who has some exposure tosupporting at partner level and is ready to progress their career.
You'll be involved in heavy and complex billing tasks and reports, toinclude finalising and sending out bills, client and matter inceptionsand understanding KYC requirements. Diary management, event supportand dealing with international travel form part of this role alongwith assisting with extranet sites and updating BD and marketing data.
You must have a positive and professional approach at all times andwork efficiently in a very busy team.
You
As this is a varied role, you'll need to be an organised, proactiveindividual who can easily prioritise and juggle workloads. You'll needto have the flexibility to assist other departments when required. Youshould also be able to use your initiative and spot where help isneeded with limited supervision.
You'll also have experience of complex billing, client inceptions andworking in a law firm, preferably with Labour & Employmentexperience. Knowledge of Aderant is preferable.
As you will be dealing with clients of the firm, a positive, can-doand proactive attitude is required whilst portraying a professionalimage towards the client and the firm. Ideally you'll have goodknowledge of all Microsoft packages along with strong keyboard skills,and a good eye for detail are a must!
You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience of working in aprofessional service firm.
