Legal Secretary - Bath Office

Join Battens Solicitors Limited as a Legal Secretary at our busy and successful Bath office. In this role you will provide secretarial support to a team of six across our Commercial Property, Dispute Resolution and Private Client teams, and perform reception duties such as greeting clients, taking copies of ID, and general office maintenance.

Working hours: Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑5:15 pm

Salary band: £25,800 – £30,000 Dependent on experience

Duties
  • Provide all‑round secretarial support
  • Liaise with clients and answer basic queries
  • Diary management
  • Produce documents (including using digital dictation)
  • Maintain filing and record systems
Ideal candidate
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and ensure that the client’s best interests are always served
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Highly IT literate
