We are looking for a Legal Cashier to join our busy Finance team incentral Leeds on a 12-month fixed term basis. We need a confident andflexible individual who thrives when working as part of a team. You'llpreferably have experience in legal cashiering, although candidateswith experience in bank reconciliations will be considered.

Our Team

Our Finance team in Leeds is a large team made of up AccountsPayable, Database and Billing, Credit Control and Client and OfficeAccounts. The team provide centralised support to all the UK officesand ensure they provide a world class service to the firm's internaland external clients.

In this role your primary responsibility will be providingadministrative and compliance support to the cashiering team. Thiswill involve monitoring daily control reports and reviewingtransaction postings to check for errors and/or SRA Accounts Rulesbreaches. You will also be responsible for the filing and monitoringof bank statements/correspondence and updating bank mandates. You willassist with client and office account cashiering when needed and withthe processing of soft cost recharges.

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

While legal cashiering experience is preferred, we are open toreceiving applications from people with experience in bankreconciliations. As you will be dealing with people of all levels, youmust have the ability to communicate effectively and interpretinstructions. An appreciation of the importance of confidentiality isalso required at all times.

We need you to be able to use your initiative, have excellentattention to detail, and be a real team player. You'll need to have aconfident approach as the role can involve making external calls tobanks and suppliers to request copy statements and will need to beflexible in your work as ad hoc duties can arise. From time to time,flexibility with hours may be required especially when it comes tomonth end.
