Job description
Lecturer Business Studies

Salary: £13,194 – £25,965. 18.5 hours per week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Business Studies Team. A degree in Business Studies or an equivalent qualification is required, along with experience teaching Business BTEC.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a range of teaching activities across Business Studies.
  • Contribute effectively to team working within the department.
  • Support students’ learning and development through consistent feedback and assessment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development and assessment meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive learning environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • PGCE qualified (or willing to work towards one within the specified period).
  • Experience teaching Business BTEC courses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic Welsh language skills or willingness to undertake training.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Willingness to pay for Required Enhanced Disclosure and Education Workforce Council registration if not already held.
