Job description

Goldsmiths, University of London is hiring three part-time Lecturers in BA Fine Art Studio Practice to join its internationally recognised School of Art. Successful candidates will contribute to the teaching, assessment, and development of this highly student-centred programme, leading tutorial groups, delivering specialist sessions, and engaging in interviews and evaluations. Applicants should be practicing artists with internationally recognised profiles and experience in higher education. Candidates will be expected to contribute to research activities and outputs for the REF. Posts available include one 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours/week) and two 0.3 FTE (10.5 hours/week). Goldsmiths actively supports diversity and inclusive teaching practices.

Contemporary Art Practice – Active, internationally recognised artistic career

Higher Education Teaching – Experience in Fine Art instruction and student mentorship

Research & REF Contribution – Capable of producing recognised academic/artistic outputs

Tutorial Leadership – Managing small groups and offering tailored academic guidance

Curriculum Development – Ability to design and deliver sessions based on own expertise

Student-Centred Pedagogy – Responsive to diverse learning styles and needs

Collaborative Work Ethic – Comfortable working in academic teams and cross-disciplinary settings
