We are seeking an Accountancy professional who demonstrates strong subject expertise alongside a genuine commitment to further education. About the Role

The role involves delivering high-quality, learner-centred teaching that supports students from a range of backgrounds to develop both theoretical understanding and practical accounting skills. Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned to awarding body requirements, assessing and monitoring learner progress, and providing timely, constructive feedback to support achievement and progression. The role also includes supporting learners’ personal and professional development, maintaining current industry and subject knowledge, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing learning environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 4 in Accountancy.
  • Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Minimum of two years industry experience, with up-to-date knowledge of industry standard practice.
  • Previous teaching or training experience in a college or professional setting, demonstrating effective instructional skills and an ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Collaborative working with students and colleagues to review student progress, supporting achievement of learning and personal development goals.
  • Planning and delivering sessions that are safe, inclusive, stretching, and relevant to learners.
  • Providing constructive and timely feedback to support student progress and achievement.
  • Using digital technologies safely, effectively and to promote innovative learning.
