Learning Support Assistant (Maternity Cover)

28.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (08:50am-14:55pm (Wednesdays 08:30am-14:55pm) Term time only (please note that we will also consider applications for other part-time working hours)

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our friendly and experienced team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to cover maternity leave, helping inspire confidence in our students and support their learning. As students are supported in all areas of the curriculum, in both academic and practical subjects, LSAs must be prepared to work across a variety of departments and subjects.

About the role:

As an LSA, you will support students in class, lead small groups and work with individuals who may have learning, physical, sensory, behaviour or communication difficulties.

We are seeking professional individuals who:

  • Have a good understanding of how children learn
  • Have a proven track record of supporting children with a variety of academic, physical, emotional and behavioural needs
  • Have a positive, caring manner, with high aspirations for the achievements of all pupils
  • Are creative, committed and inspirational
  • Build positive relationships with children and adults
