Summary

We are looking for a proactive and organised Learning & Development Leader, to design, implement and continuously improve learning strategies that support our vision, values and business objectives.

About The Role

Based from our Truro office, our Learning & Development Leader will ensure that all our employees have the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver exceptional service consistently. The role is pivotal to the successful delivery of Transformation activities across the business.

Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development leadership or senior training roles.
  • Passion for Learning & Development with strong commitment to own CPD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and e-learning tools.
  • Willingness to study towards related professional qualifications.
Responsibilities
  • Developing and delivering our Learning & Development strategy.
  • Identifying skills gaps and future capability needs, with a particular focus on Transformation activities.
  • Supporting in the design of annual training plans and programmes, and maintaining budgets.
  • Ensuring compliance with mandatory learning and CPD requirements.
  • Taking ownership of our CII Chartered Status and annual renewal.
  • Developing coaching frameworks and buddying programmes to enhance post‑training support.
  • Measuring and reporting on training effectiveness using feedback, performance metrics and ROI analysis.
  • Staying updated on Learning & Development trends and introducing innovative practices.
