A global leader in metallurgy is seeking a Lab Inspector in Macclesfield. As a Lab Inspector, you’ll carry out metallurgical testing and quality inspections on heat‑treated components across aerospace, automotive, and commercial sectors. Taking ownership of routine testing, compliance checks, and equipment maintenance, you’ll impact product quality, customer satisfaction, and the overall effectiveness of the site’s quality system. You will carry out inspections on components and test pieces, check compliance with Quality Systems and customer specifications, maintain daily check requirements on laboratory equipment, assist with internal and external quality audits, record and report non‑conformances, liaise with production staff to coordinate release work, implement quality procedures, and ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed while maintaining good housekeeping.
This role is based in Macclesfield, with onsite expectations. Some travel may be required.
