L&D Business Partner - County Antrim - Permanent

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation as they look to add a L&D Business Partner to their team, in this full-time, permanent opportunity.

This role is perfect for an experienced L&D professional with deep sector knowledge and a passion for developing people beyond the traditional classroom.

The role:

You will take ownership of the learning agenda across both operational and leadership populations, shaping a development culture that supports a high-performing, safety-focused, and future-ready workforce.

The main responsibilities:

• Business partner with senior leaders and site teams to diagnose capability needs and build learning strategies aligned to project and organisational goals.
• Design and deliver engaging leadership, technical, and behavioural development programmes tailored to this fast-paced environment.
• Provide coaching to managers at all levels, enhancing people leadership and team performance.
• Manage partnerships with colleges, and industry bodies to support early careers, apprenticeships, and professional development initiatives.
• Evaluate programme impact and continuously improve L&D offerings through data, feedback, and innovation.
• Champion a proactive learning culture that supports operational excellence and future talent pipelines.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience in L&D within the private sector, preferably within engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong facilitation skills and the confidence to deliver training to senior management teams and operational leaders.
• Experience designing learning pathways alongside leadership development.
• A natural relationship-builder with the ability to influence, coach, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
