A leading provider of continuing learning for healthcare professionals in the UK is seeking a hardworking and personable Kitchen Porter. The role includes responsibilities in a busy events venue, where you will assist in back of house operations and support the event team. The Royal Society of Medicine is one of the UK’s leading providers of continuing learning for healthcare professionals, near to both Oxford Circus and Bond Street Tube stations. The hospitality department operates a conference, meeting, and events venue 1 Wimpole Street and an exclusive Members Club facility for healthcare professionals.
We are looking for a hardworking, personable Kitchen Porter with a good standard of English, able to lift and carry items where required and available to work long hours when needed, primarily to assist in the running of the back of house operations as well as assisting the event team in set up and general light food preparation duties.
Responsibilities include:
You will need at least one year’s experience working as a kitchen porter to succeed in this role. You will be able to work under pressure, and demonstrate you are a team player with a calm and reasonable approach to your work.
