Opening early 2026, The Bedford Hotel Belfast will be a prestigious boutique hotel set within the iconic Scottish Mutual Building in the heart of the city. With 82 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a destination restaurant, café/bar, and exclusive private dining rooms, The Bedford Hotel Belfast will set new standards for hospitality in Northern Ireland.

Role Responsibilities

AsaKitchenPorter,you’llmaintainthe highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas by followingestablished procedureseach day set by the Head Chef.

  • You’llhave a positive mentality and can-do attitude supporting the rest of the Kitchen Team with any tasks asrequired.
  • Toworkthe sections, ensuring that pot-wash standards are dealt with efficiently and to the best of your ability,always insuring the up most cleanliness.
  • Display efficient working practices and ensure all the kitchen, utensils, cookware, and crockeryareproperly cleanedin a timely manner.
  • Support the Head Chef with stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries.
  • Toassistin ensuringa high levelof Health & Safety,cleanlinessand food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed.
  • Be aware of COSHH regulations and use of PPE.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
Key Requirements
  • Previousexperience preferred.
  • To be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to enjoy it.
  • To be able to work independently, being self-motivated to complete the tasks.
  • Flexibility- to enjoy working different shift patterns and seeing the operation on different days of the week including the weekends.
