Overview

Key Account Manager (covering Suffolk and Surrounding Areas) This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field-based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and remotely. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Key Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a role with training, support, and opportunities for progression within a diverse and world-class team.

What you’ll be doing

Spending time on the road as the key point of contact for customers covering Suffolk and surrounding areas. You will work with a varied portfolio of companies from different industries, identifying their challenges and providing top in class solutions to drive the portfolio forward. You will also:

  • Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio
  • Produce robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets
  • Build a detailed understanding of customers, markets, and competitors
  • Maintain and upkeep accurate customer records
  • Build coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets, including with internal account managers
What skills and experience are needed
  • Experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targets
  • Open-minded, with the ability and willingness to embrace change
  • Solution-led approach to work
  • Proven ability in strategic thinking and planning
  • Excellent relationship builder with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Salesforce CRM or B2B experience would be a bonus
  • Driving licence is essential
