› › Kent Cricket: Commercial Account Executive (Deadline – Jan 9)Location:The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury, United Kingdom### Description**JOB TITLE:** Commercial Account Executive **REPORTS TO:** Chief Commercial Officer, Senior Commercial Account Executive**CONTRACT:** Full time**SALARY:** £25,000 **BASED AT:** The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury (with occasional travel)**Summary of Role:** The successful candidate will work in the Commercial department and will support the Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Commercial Account Executive in fulfilling sponsorship agreements and driving new commercial business for Kent Cricket. There will be a focus on account management for Kent Cricket Partners, both leading on specified partner agreements and supporting other team members with fulfilment of larger partner agreements. Additionally, they will drive new business and support the wider Commercial department including the Sales and Membership Manager.**Other Details:** Normal working hours will be 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (inclusive), including one-hour unpaid lunch on each day worked. The post holder will be based at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence but travel to The County Ground, Beckenham may be required to assist on match days. Due to the nature of the work, the post holder will carry out his/her/their duties as such times/days which are most effective to perform the tasks required. This may involve some out of hours work – evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, as necessary.**Background:** Kent Cricket is one of only 18 first-class county cricket clubs in England and Wales. More importantly, creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work, is the right thing to do and we therefore encourage applicants from diverse areas to apply.**Principal Duties & Responsibilities:** **Sponsorships and Partnerships** • Support the Chief Commercial Officer in the management and activation of specified sponsor and partner agreements • Being a point of contact for accounts for partners and deliver high-quality servicing, ensuring contractual rights are fulfilled and value maximised • Act as a key point of contact for partner enquiries, responding promptly and professionally to enquiries and feedback • Support the Chief Commercial Officer and Business Development Sales Executive in delivering sponsor and partner agreements • Researching, prospecting, and pitching to potential new sponsors Hospitality and Events • Fulfil partner and sponsor rights and requirements for matchday hospitality and events • Manage client hospitality bookings and ensure smooth delivery • Deliver outstanding guest experiences, resolving any issues efficiently and ensuring client satisfaction • Support the set-up and management of hospitality areas and partner activations on matchdays**Sales Support** • Handle advance ticket and membership sales enquiries and fulfil orders using online ticketing software • Duties associated with fulfilment of membership orders and event ticketing • Research and analyse B2B and B2C sales opportunities • Build and maintain professional networks, leveraging these for both commercial sales and matchday ticketing sales • Prepare sales and performance information and reports across both commercial sales and ticketing and membership sales**Additional Responsibilities** • Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to create marketing campaigns promoting commercial products and experiences • Ensure consistent and high-quality communication with all customers and partner groups • Provide excellent customer service to members and supporters, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience across all touchpoints • Maintain CRM system, databases, and commercial records • Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for internal and external use • Support the wider commercial team in achieving department targets and delivering strategic objectives*This job profile is not an exhaustive list of all job responsibilities, tasks and duties.***Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:** • Educated to A-Level or equivalent level • Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills • Sales experience preferred, but not essential • Clear communication skills and a strong command of the English language (Fluency in English, written and spoken) • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work within a team and to contribute to the overall success of the Club. • Multitasking skills and good organisational abilities • A desire to deliver first-class customer service • An ability to build strong working relationships**How To Apply:** Please submit your CV and a short (maximum 150 words) statement of support stating why you are the ideal candidate for the role by emailing jobs@kentcricket.co.uk with a subject heading of “Commercial Account Executive”.The deadline for applications is 23:59 Friday 9th January 2026, with interviews to take place week commencing 19th January 2026.**Safeguarding Statement:** Kent Cricket is committed to safeguarding and protecting children, young people and adults in cricket and we expect all employees to share this commitment.
