Job summary

A leading tennis club in West Bridgford is seeking a Junior Tennis Professional to operate and enhance the junior tennis programme, ensuring exceptional member experiences. Responsibilities include developing racquet activities, overseeing coaching standards, and engaging with members daily. Ideal candidates will be LTA Level 3 qualified with proven experience as a Tennis Coach, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for promoting tennis among young players. The role offers a dynamic and supportive environment in a premium facility.

Qualifications

  • LTA Level 3 qualified.
  • Proven experience as a qualified Tennis Coach.
  • Experience in delivering children’s group coaching in line with LTA guidelines.
  • Ability to engage and organise large groups.
  • Genuine passion when engaging with individuals.
  • Excellence in customer service.
  • Strong listening and collaboration skills.
  • Team player.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the junior tennis programme, ensuring excellent member experiences.
  • Develop a dynamic programme of junior racquet activities based on member needs.
  • Create quarterly training calendar for junior matches and championships.
  • Oversee coaches delivering competition weeks and additional themes.
  • Welcome new child members with dedicated taster sessions.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard for member satisfaction.
  • Interact with members daily and lead your coaching team.
  • Review member feedback and enhance the racquets experience.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with Children's Safety Guide.
  • Support the reception team in managing racquets bookings.
  • Build relationships with Club Support and LTA.
  • Achieve junior revenue and participation targets.
  • Contribute to member communication and newsletters.
  • Manage stock and equipment repairs efficiently.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with team members.
  • Collaborate with the Lawn Tennis Association.
