Junior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a well‑established and reputable construction group, who is seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This is a rare start‑from‑scratch opportunity, ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, develop, and progress within a supportive environment. The role sits within a business known for delivering high‑quality civil engineering, groundworks, and infrastructure projects across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
  • Supporting the measurement and valuation of works on site
  • Maintaining accurate records and assisting with monthly reporting
  • Helping prepare interim applications and final accounts
  • Conducting site visits to monitor progress and work alongside operational teams
  • Providing general commercial support across projects as required
  • Ensuring all work complies with company processes, health & safety, and industry standards
