A leading children's entertainment company in Salford is seeking a Junior Production Coordinator Apprentice. This role offers a full-time, fixed-term apprenticeship lasting 17 months. The ideal candidate will assist with production management tasks, learn about health and safety, and support teams in creating high-quality content. Location: Salford – Bridge House (Salford, M50 2BH)

Contract: Fixed‑Term Apprenticeship, full‑time, 17 months

Salary: £22,950 per annum

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Junior Production Coordinator Apprenticeship at BBC Studios – Kids & Family gives you a frontline entry into production management for children’s entertainment and family content.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with shoots: studio setups, crew bookings, call sheets and on‑location coordination.
  • Support Production Managers and Coordinators in creating quality content for TV, audio, online and digital platforms.
  • Learn best practices in production management, health & safety, safeguarding and copyright clearance.
  • Assist with post‑production paperwork and reporting to ensure editorial vision is delivered.

  • Resilience and a calm focused approach to challenging situations.
  • Flexibility and motivation to manage multiple deadlines.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
  • 18 years old or over by September 2026.
  • Lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years.
  • Legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the full duration.
  • No other apprenticeship enrolled at the same time.
  • For <19 year‑olds: Maths and English GCSE Grade 4 / C or equivalent, or Functional Skills Level 2.
