Our Team
You will be supporting the Corporate Practice Group providingsecretarial and administration support. You'll be reporting into theSecretarial Services Manager and will be working alongside Partnersand Associates and other Secretaries. Occasionally, you may beexpected to provide support to other teams as and when required.
In this dynamic and busy role, no two days will be the same. Thisrole would be ideal for someone who has Corporate experience and iscurrently carrying out administration and secretarial duties within anoffice environment.
You'll conduct client inceptions, undertake in-depth billing and willdeal with payment forms. You will work on some documentation anddictation. You'll be dealing with expenses, arranging travel for thefee-earners and getting involved in the daily tasks of a busy lawfirm. You will receive full training to enable you to undertakemonthly billing.
You will need to keep all client files up to date and make sure allpaper and electronic filing is up-to-date. You must have a positiveand professional approach at all times.
Once you have successfully completed your probation, you will be ableto work remotely one day per week. This will be a set day per week,but some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the team.
Monday-Friday, 9.00am- 5.00pm. Hybrid working available
You
As this is a varied role, you'll need to be an organised, proactiveindividual who can easily prioritise. You'll need to have theflexibility to assist other departments when required. You should alsobe able to use your initiative and spot where help is needed withlimited supervision.
You'll need to be a self-starter who is able to juggle priorities.
As you will be dealing with clients of the firm, excellentcommunication skills are key for this role. Ideally you'll have goodknowledge of all Microsoft packages along with strong keyboard skills,and a good eye for detail are a must!
You will have 2 years' experience of working in a professionalservice firm with some experience in Corporate.
