We are looking for a Junior IT Business Partner

Responsibilities
The Job Role

We are seeking a diligent, self-motivated team player who can excel in their duties to help us maintain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.

You will join us on a full-time permanent contract.

You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.

The responsibilities of the role include:
  • Act as the point of contact between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, priorities, and feedback.
  • Assist in organizing stakeholder meetings and documenting business needs and project specifications.
  • Help resolve technical issues and provide first-line/second-line support to ensure smooth IT operations via the business helpdesk solution.
  • Collaborate with IT support teams to escalate or diagnose recurring technical challenges.
  • Support senior IT professionals in planning, developing, and implementing IT projects.
  • Contribute to developing proposals, business cases, and requirements documentation for IT initiatives.
  • Assist in gathering and analysing data related to IT performance and service delivery.
  • Prepare and present reports highlighting opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Help maintain and update IT policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
  • Ensure IT initiatives comply with organizational guidelines and regulations.
What we are looking for
  • Degree-level education in an IT-related subject with experience working in IT.
  • Experience working with Microsoft desktops.
  • Knowledge of virtual environments.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Support of computer networks in a Microsoft environment / Experience with Microsoft products.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Experience working in IT within a similar business.
  • ITIL v4 or Project Management certification.
