Job summary

A regional construction and facilities management company is looking for a Business Systems & Data Analyst Apprentice in Portsmouth. This permanent position offers hands-on experience and a structured learning program, helping the candidate to develop skills in data reporting and business analysis. Key responsibilities include supporting the development of reporting metrics and working closely with various teams on project assignments. The role requires intermediate skills in MS Excel and GCSEs in Maths and English.

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude for learning and understanding IT Systems.
• Comfortable with extracting and using data to generate measures.
• Ability to work on project-based assignments collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of timely measures reporting suite each month.
• Produce and circulate a Monthly Balanced Scorecard Report.
• Develop understandable measures for operational functions.
• Provide monthly support for the production of metrics and KPIs.
• Coach staff to use metrics effectively.
• Investigate operational issues and trends.
• Produce SHEQ Group monthly statistical report.
• Produce Vehicle Tracking and Driver Behaviour report.

Skills

Intermediate/Advanced level skill in MS Excel

Intermediate level skill in MS Office Suite Applications

Education

GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above
