Responsibilities

We are searching for Ground Engineering professionals to join our teams here at AECOM. The role is suitable for dynamic Geotechnical Engineers/Geologists of all levels, to bring technical expertise and an innovative mindset across the UK. Responsibilities include contributing to ground engineering projects, applying current design codes and standards, and delivering work that supports major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications
  • Degree (BSc or MSc) in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
  • Progress towards Chartered status would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite. The team can provide support in achieving chartered status.
  • Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design.
  • Proven leadership experience in similar roles, appropriate to your level, with ability to lead teams.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • You’re not just technically proficient—you’re passionate about pushing the field forward.
  • You thrive on solving complex challenges and delivering sustainable, innovative solutions.
