Overview

We’re looking for a JCR Support Worker to help clients like Sue regain independence after an illness or injury. You’ll provide personal care, help with therapy exercises and offer emotional support to help clients achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and daily living support to older adults across the local community.
  • Assist with therapy exercises and help clients adapt to new routines.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support clients’ independence in their own homes.
  • Maintain accurate records of care and progress.
  • Adhere to the service’s health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their advocates.
  • Patience, empathy and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience working as part of a team in a community or social care environment.
  • Valid driving licence and access to a car for travel within the service area.
Compensation & Working Hours

Permanent contracts range from 6 to 30 hours per week. Apprenticeships: 24‑30 hours and 6‑24 hour weekend‑only contracts are available. Salary is £26,824–£27,254 per annum (pro‑rata) based on the number of hours worked. Working shifts are between 7 am and 10 pm, including weekends and bank holidays.
