A prominent service provider in Perth is seeking a proactive IT Engineer to support and maintain IT infrastructure across various sites in Scotland. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel. This position is based at our head office in Perth, with regular travel required to services throughout Scotland. While remote working is not available for this role, occasional home working may be considered where appropriate.
We are looking for a proactive and motivated IT Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring all sites are connected, secure, and equipped to operate smoothly. Working closely with the IT Manager, you will also support staff remotely and on-site, helping to resolve a wide range of technical issues.

You’ll bring a strong understanding of IT systems and networking, with the confidence to provide both remote and hands‑on technical support. A good working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and general networking is essential. Experience with server environments, VoIP systems (e.g., Mitel or 3CX), and virtualisation (e.g., VMware) is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to provide satisfactory references and undergo a PVG check. Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK.
