Job description

I am working with a client in the professional services space to recruit an IT administrator to join their team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to the overall success and growth of the business. This is a part-time, office-based position and is flexible around working hours in the context of 8am-6pm.

Key responsibilities
  • Providing general office support, including switchboard duties, filing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Setting up and maintaining IT equipment such as laptops, printers, and phone systems for staff.
  • Managing desktops, laptops, company mobile phones, and user accounts.
  • Acting as the main point of contact with the external IT support provider, ensuring timely resolution of issues and escalating where necessary.
  • Assisting with IT improvement projects, system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Supporting IT performance and security in line with industry best practices and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.
  • Maintaining accurate records of hardware and software assets, ensuring all items are licenced and under support.

This role will be 5 days working on-site in Saintfield. Only candidates with the ability to fulfil this will be considered.
