Role Overview

As an IT Business Partner at Keyloop you will play a pivotal role in creating, establishing and maintaining strategic relationships between IT and the Keyloop business. You will build credibility, trust and partnership to support business growth and enhance the customer experience. This role requires an understanding of SaaS business models, with a particular focus on business‑wide transformation and functional transformation. It is a new construct in the IT Department; after a successful POC we are ready to build this into an established, high‑performing function. Proven experience in this space is a must, as is the ability to take a low‑maturity function to a high performing one with the necessary collateral and artefacts.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Strategic Alignment – develop a deep understanding of the business’s and functional departments’ strategic objectives and processes, ensuring that IT underpins the business units’ initiatives and aligns with overall strategy.
  • Strategic Planning – participate in the strategic planning process to identify IT needs and opportunities.
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business units.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business on IT‑related matters.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with business units to discuss current and future IT needs.
Project Management
  • Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project managers and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Service Management
  • Ensure IT services meet the needs of the business and are delivered effectively.
  • Establish interlocks with the Service Management team to monitor and report on service performance.
  • Work with IT Service Engineering & Service Management teams to resolve service issues promptly.
Communication
  • Serve as a point of contact between the business and IT.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between business units and IT teams.
  • Communicate IT strategies, projects, and services to business stakeholders.
Requirements Gathering
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and document IT requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly understood and addressed by IT solutions.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes through IT solutions.
  • Promote the use of IT innovations to enhance business performance.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within IT and business units.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Salesforce CRM/CPQ experience.
  • Previous IT Business Partner experience.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and navigating ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall and other IT project delivery methods.
  • Understanding of industry, business models, processes, and functional areas.
  • Knowledge of product life cycle and Business Relationship Management lifecycle.
  • Ability to create stakeholder management strategies and plans.
  • Translate IT strategy and roadmap into a directorate‑focused perspective.
  • Measure benefits, forecast, plan and monitor realization of benefits from projects and programs.
  • Create open communication channels for stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide autonomous leadership to drive transformation within the IT Service organization.
