WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Team Overview: the IT asset management team is responsible for tracking and managing IT hardware and software assets owned by Braze.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the coordination and scheduling of all incoming and outgoing IT shipments, collaborating with our logistics partners.
  • Maintain hardware asset records in our asset tracking system (Oomnitza)
  • Maintain software contract records in our software tracking system (Zylo)
  • Coordinate updates to our software catalog in Zylo, as needed
  • Audit and update hardware asset records as needed
  • Review and process physical inventory counts submitted by our third-party warehouse or internal IT support team.
  • Audit software license assignments to identify assigned licenses that are not actively utilized
  • Manage the full order processing cycle from end-user request to placement of purchase order and delivery verification
  • Work with our logistics warehouse to ship and reclaim hardware as requested
  • Order laptops for new hires, ensuring delivery prior to the target onboarding date
  • Process disposal shipments, ensuring all records are accurately updated and verifying that vendor reports match Braze shipments
  • Provide accurate data and reports to support IT asset budget planning
  • Monitor and maintain hardware inventory in warehouses and local offices to ensure stock aligns with demand
  • Monitor and maintain software licenses to ensure supply meets demand
WHO YOU ARE
  • Foundational understanding of IT asset management or related logistics processes
  • Ability to manage purchasing processes, including requesting quotes, vetting vendors, and placing orders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and track orders
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional team
  • Proficiency using spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel) for inventory tracking and data entry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills are essential
