The opportunity

We’re looking for an IT Application Support Analyst to join our established IT team based in Uxbridge, working in a hybrid model. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting and maintaining the applications our business relies on every day.

You’ll provide high-quality, customer-focused support, acting quickly and efficiently to resolve application and system issues. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with internal users and third-party suppliers to ensure application services remain stable, reliable, and fit for purpose.

What you’ll be doing
  • Provide first and second line application support for business-critical systems, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption.
  • Configure, support, and maintain applications in line with business and operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot application, system, and data-related issues, performing root cause analysis where appropriate.
  • Analyse application inputs, outputs, and data flows to ensure accuracy and continuity of business operations.
  • Monitor application performance and business processes, responding to alerts and proactively identifying issues.
  • Log, track, and manage incidents, service requests, and problems through the service management system.
  • Escalate and coordinate issues with third-party vendors and suppliers, managing incidents through to resolution.
  • Support bespoke SQL-based applications, including basic query validation and data checks.
What you’ll bring
  • Proven experience in an IT Application Support, Systems Support, or similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose application and system issues.
  • Experience providing first and second line support in a business-critical environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft-based environments (Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory).
  • Experience supporting database-driven applications (basic SQL querying or data validation).
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • A process-driven mindset with experience working to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to translate technical issues for non-technical users.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving systems and processes.
What we offer
  • Hybrid working with an Uxbridge head office base.
  • Company Pension.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Opportunities to develop your technical skills and grow your career.
