About The Role

The International Operations Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all order and project fulfillment for international customers (all excluding North America). This includes ensuring effective execution of promotional vehicles, new innovation, and on‑going business. The person will ensure that service levels, costs, and inventory levels are balanced and meet the corporate objectives. Heavy emphasis will be on managing customer operations and ensuring 3rd‑party distribution providers meet their service level agreements for fill rates, order lead times, and project execution. Additional emphasis will also be on influencing and bringing clarity to demand forecasts and ensuring supply plans will meet forecasted demand.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the daily single point of contact (SPOC) for operations (distribution and logistics) for the international business ensuring prioritized order fulfillment, project execution, timely purchase order inbounding, and inventory accuracy for all e.l.f. brands
  • Manage and communicate with the Sales team and customers any existing or potential business risk to service or quality. Work closely with the Demand and Supply planning team on addressing drivers of supply/demand imbalances in order to reduce service risks and ensure recovery
  • Manage relationships with third‑party distribution providers in EU ensuring they meet service level agreements, order fill rates, and project execution. Additionally ensure 3rd parties have visibility to forward‑looking business needs including customer forecasts, promotion activity, item master data, innovation pipeline, and
  • Conduct weekly internal meetings with sales, order management, 3rd‑party distributors, regulatory, and planning teams to manage on‑going activity including special projects and supply/service issues
  • Conduct weekly customer interactions focused on service issues, recovery timing, customer order behavior, and upcoming customer priorities
  • Participate in S&OP/demand planning activity to ensure forecasts align with new news and customer/sales requests for all brands/items. Validate unit‑level forecasts and aid in forecast accuracy improvement
Requirements
  • 4 to 5 years’ experience within Supply and/or Demand Planning, Innovation Planning, and/or distribution/logistics roles
  • High drive for results and willing to work in a demanding & rapid‑paced environment
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional resources and teams to drive process and tool improvements delivering efficiency and effectiveness results
  • Operations experience in a food, CPG, or cosmetics manufacturing company of relevant size and complexity
  • Strong working knowledge of planning processes within CPG, fashion, or seasonal products
  • Cross‑functional S&OP modeling and process leadership experience; inclusive of supply planning, demand planning, and inventory management; strong preference for enterprise systems experience, past success reducing inventory levels or SKU rationalization
  • Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, and leading cross‑functional business processes from a starting point of limited maturity and sophistication; experience managing cross‑functional teams. Nimble and entrepreneurial in nature
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Ability to work autonomously across functions to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion
