Qualifications

• Experience with CAD, ideally Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor.
• Demonstrated interest in mechanical design, including relevant extracurricular or practical experience.
• Competent in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), supported by validated hand calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design concepts, models, and detailed drawings to meet application and customer requirements.
• Investigate mechanical design issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Visit customer sites when high technical input is required, both within the UK and internationally.
