Overview

Infrastructure Transactions - Associate/Associate Director/Director opportunity within Steer’s Infrastructure and Asset Advisory team. The role supports our world-leading transactions advisory offer across transport, with responsibilities across sourcing, winning, leading and delivering commissions from investors, lenders, grantors, operating companies and project developers.

Responsibilities
  • Build a vibrant pipeline of work through active management of client relationships
  • Sell services across Steer and leverage our reputation as a specialist in the field
  • Support Steer\'s Infrastructure Transactions practice via client engagement and proposal development
  • Assume leadership for delivering business performance and make strong commercial decisions
  • Lead projects as a Project Director, ensuring best practice techniques and integration with Steer project teams
  • Diversify Steer\'s offer to deliver growth in line with company strategy
  • Mentor colleagues and collaborate across the company
  • Work across projects in Demand and Revenue, Commercial Due Diligence, and Technical Due Diligence, providing support to Steer\'s projects and clients
Requirements / About the candidate
  • Presence and reputation in the infrastructure sector with extensive client, partner and stakeholder networks
  • Proven ability to originate opportunities, win work, and deliver work (as Project Director) in Commercial Due Diligence and Technical Due Diligence, in at least two of: Ports/Maritime, European Rail/Rolling Stock, Urban Transit (light rail/tram), Bus
  • Ability to generate revenue targets (£500K Associate, £750K Associate Director, £1M Director) through own leads
  • Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with colleagues and clients
  • 10+ years in Infrastructure Transactions Advisory
  • Expert knowledge of Demand & Revenue, Commercial Due Diligence and/or Technical Due Diligence
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in project management and managing large consulting projects
  • Proven ability to develop new clients and leads for large-scale project work
  • Proven ability to deliver timely, profitable, high-quality projects
  • Ability to shape the technical offer for growth markets and think strategically about business development
