Due to our continued growth, we are seeking professionals within information security to join our expanding Lead Auditor team that supports a broad range of clients across the UK. With onsite practical experience and deep knowledge of industry processes, policies, and regulations, you'll help clients reach their full potential. Internal audit experience is beneficial but not mandatory, as we provide comprehensive training via our academy. After your initial inductions, you will undertake a 12-week training program, including classroom and onsite learning with a Senior Lead Auditor, to achieve your Lead Auditor qualifications in Quality Management Systems (9001) and Information Security Management Systems (27001).
What that means day to day
The role of a Lead Auditor is dynamic and varied, with responsibilities including:
- Getting to know our clients and their products
- Hosting opening meetings to help clients understand the audit process
- Leading the audit, applying your subject matter expertise
- Writing reports to finalize and deliver the audit findings to clients
- Continuous learning and professional development, with training to audit against multiple standards
What you’ll need to be successful
You should have practical experience in information technology and security. Suitable backgrounds include roles such as IT Systems Architect, Cloud Engineer, Network Engineer, Cyber Intelligence Specialist, Digital Forensics Analyst, or similar. We value relevant experience beyond these roles. As travel is involved, a full driving licence is essential. You should be a confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong report-writing skills. Your expertise in the field will be key to your success.
