Join our Digital and Information Management team and play a key role in shaping the future of energy infrastructure. You’ll work on some of the UK’s most ambitious power transmission and distribution projects, driving innovation in BIM, ISO 19650 compliance, and digital delivery.
Responsible for establishing governance and ensuring data and information flow to and from the common data environments (CDE). Review employers information requirements (EIR) and produce and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Information Management Plans (IMP), and related documents (e.g., MIDP). Manage the Common Data Environment, ensure all project information is available and up‑to‑date, encourage collaborative working, and support the project team throughout. The role has no design‑related duties.
Balfour Beatty’s Power Transmission & Distribution teams work with regional, national and international electricity network owners and operators to provide technical engineering solutions across the full spectrum of the electricity grid. They support customers in developing ambitious power transmission and distribution projects from scoping and feasibility to design, construction and ongoing maintenance.
