To support our growth and service excellence, we’re looking for a commercially minded Indirect Category Manager to join our Procurement team.This is a fantastic opportunity to lead impactful procurement initiatives across a diverse portfolio, including Property, Facilities Management, IT, Fleet, Professional Services, Marketing, and other general business services.**What you’ll be doing*** Develop and implement category strategies that deliver sustainable savings, risk reduction, and service improvements.* Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFIs, RFPs, negotiations) ensuring compliance and value for money.* Manage supplier selection, contracting, and performance reviews, driving accountability and continuous improvement.* Ensure suppliers meet Medivet’s ESG, data protection, and ethical sourcing standards.* Monitor spend, savings, and supplier performance, producing reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.* Build strong relationships across Property, IT, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.* Drive adoption of procurement best practices, tools, and systems, mentoring junior team members along the way.**What you’ll bring:*** 5+ years’ experience in indirect procurement across multi-site operations.* Proven expertise in category management and end-to-end contract management.* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to link data insights to strategic outcomes.* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.* Experience leading supplier performance management and ensuring compliance with ESG standards.* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems (ERP, contract management tools).**Why Medivet**Joining Medivet means becoming part of a nationwide community that puts care at the heart of everything we do.
