The right candidate for this role may have recent successful leadership experience, for example, phase/curriculum leader, deputy headteacher or assistant headteacher, as well as the knowledge and passion to take on the role of SENCO. They will have the ability to motivate and inspire a varied team of teachers in new strategies to improve teaching and learning over the whole school and will deliver excellent teaching and learning in their classroom.
