Job summary

A leading energy innovation company in the UK is looking for a Lead Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer to provide expertise in the design of cutting-edge nuclear power stations. Candidates should have substantial experience in safety-critical systems, a strong background in compliance with IEC standards, and a technical degree. This role offers competitive compensation, including a salary between £61,920 - £81,270 and various benefits, while promoting a flexible, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience across the lifecycle of C&I Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise for C&I systems in nuclear power plant design.
  • Translate high-level requirements into specifications.
  • Liaise with other disciplines to ensure compliance and integration.

Skills

Deep knowledge across specification, design, verification
Practical experience with IEC standards
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering
Technical oversight and project management
Excellent stakeholder communication

Education

Degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, control systems, or mechatronics
