A leading international technology and engineering firm based in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to lead Digital & Technology projects in a hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring compliance, and managing project delivery from concept through operational handover. Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing Digital & Technology projects, ideally in infrastructure or defence sectors.
  • Strong record of leading projects from requirements gathering to operational use.
  • Familiarity with highly regulated environments and security assurance principles.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Digital & Technology Lead in managing multiple projects from concept to go-live.
  • Act as an interface between Digital & Technology Delivery Support and project teams.
  • Drive project progression and delivery using digital tools and processes.
  • Lead approved projects through to operational handover.
  • Ensure compliance and traceability through effective documentation management.

Managing Digital & Technology projects

Familiarity with regulated environments and security assurance

Education

APM Project Management Qualification (PFQ/PMQ) or equivalent experience
