What we’re looking for:
  • A teaching degree or equivalent and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
  • Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome
  • Experience in teaching the Humanities
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.

Silverways School is an independent special school which supports children and young people with autism and associated learning needs. The school is set in the heart of the community in Enfield, North London.

Silverways School is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
