Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ Advisor to support Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental performance at our Scunthorpe site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will help maintain compliance, support ISO systems, and promote a strong safety and quality culture across operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of company-wide H&S policies and procedures.
  • Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and routine inspections.
  • Monitor PPE usage and assist with safety equipment management.
  • Assist with accident investigations and ensure corrective actions are followed up.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
  • Support compliance with key legislation (e.g., PUWER, COSHH, asbestos, and legionella).
  • Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems.
  • Support Type Approval and Conformity of Production (CoP) documentation.
  • Conduct basic quality inspections and audits as directed.
  • Promote a positive culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams and supervisors to identify improvements.
  • Provide general administrative and technical support to the Site Manager.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience in an HSQE-related role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Level 3 H&S qualification).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Desirable
  • IOSH membership.
  • Understanding of Type Approval or CoP processes.
  • Awareness of environmental management systems (ISO 14001).

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
