Overview

Are you a versatile and people-focused HR professional who enjoys both recruiting great people and supporting a range of HR functions? Do you want to be hands-on, helping and serving people? Join our team as an HR Generalist based in Darlington, SC, where you\'ll play a key role in building our workforce and supporting 150 employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Managing full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for a wide range of positions.
  • Drafting and maintaining job postings and administering and maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment metrics.
  • Coordinating and participating in job fairs, networking events, and community outreach for talent.
  • Leading new hire onboarding to ensure a positive start for employees.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for employees, providing responsive and supportive HR guidance.
  • Supporting employee relations by assisting with workplace issues and fostering a respectful, positive work environment.
  • Administering and supporting core HR functions to help employees with their questions and needs.
  • Responding to HR-related inquiries from employees, applicants, and supervisors, escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Managing HR documentation such as personnel files, policy acknowledgments, and compliance records.
  • Helping ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in HR generalist roles strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) and experience in the construction or manufacturing industry are a plus.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information system (Spectrum) or applicant tracking system (Arcoro).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.
