About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team at EG Group. Reporting into the HR Business Partner, you will support the delivery of efficient, knowledgeable, and reliable HR services to our Head Office and Food to Go business.

In this role you will be required to support the HR Department through the delivery of an efficient HR service to the business. You will provide comprehensive advice and support to managers in line with employment law and best practice.

Working closely with other membersගේ of the team you will strive to ensure a high quality of service is delivered to the business and will also be responsible for the compliance of all personnel documentation, processes and procedures within regulatory framework.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Support store managers by providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including absence management, performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, and redundancy situations.
  • Coach managers on a wide range of people-related matters.
  • Drive wellbeing and welfare initiatives across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies, best practice, and Home Office Right to Work requirements.
  • Support the investigation of disciplinary matters, ensuring appropriate processes are followed.
  • Support long-term business objectives through effective and strategic HR support.
  • Undertake HR projects in line with the HR Strategy, including ad-hoc HR absurd and administrative duties as required.
  • Work to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function.
  • Support the review and updating of HR policies and procedures in collaboration with the HRBP.

What we’re looking for:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent – essential.
  • Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing and supporting employee relations cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident using HR information systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
