A local government council in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Housing Options Triage Officer to join their housing team. This role involves conducting assessments for residents at risk of homelessness, providing tailored advice and support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a customer-focused attitude. The position offers a fixed-term contract with a salary ranging from £31,158 to £33,940 per annum, with flexible working arrangements.

We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate individual to join our Housing Options Team. In this fast‑paced role, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents at risk of homelessness—whether by phone, email, or face‑to‑face. You’ll carry out rapid assessments, provide tailored advice, and ensure customers are connected with the right support at the right time.
We are looking for people who are dynamic, customer‑focused and thrive in a busy and demanding environment. You should have a desire to help support people, providing advice and assistance while managing expectations.
The role will be in both Andover and Romsey offices, with some flexibility for home working.
