A housing association in Wales is seeking a proactive Housing Assistant for a fixed-term role. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting lettings activities and communication with tenants, ensuring smooth property transitions. The role requires education to Level 2/HNC or equivalent experience and involves travel within the community. We’re looking for a proactive and organised Housing Assistant to join our team.
1x Fixed-term position for up to 6months, available with a competitive pay and benefits package, including a starting salary of £27,332 per annum, rising to £29,805 per annum after key competencies of the role are met.
Reporting to the Housing Team Leader, this position plays a key role in supporting lettings activities, particularly during the end-of-tenancy process. The role involves direct communication with tenants and their representatives to ensure smooth transitions.
It also provides vital assistance to Lettings Officers in fulfilling their responsibilities. A willingness and ability to travel within the community to visit properties is essential.
To be successful in the role of Housing Assistant our new team member will be educated to Level 2/HNC in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
