Qualifications

Housekeeping Manager – Darwin Escapes

Location: Wareham Forest Lodge Retreat, Poole, Dorset

Position type: Permanent, Full‑time (40 hours across 5 variable days, including weekends and bank holidays).

About The Role

This role leads a small housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all rental fleet and company premises. Key duties include staff rota management, training, inventory control, laundry services, and reporting of lost and found property.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team to achieve the highest standards in their work.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all rental fleet and company premises to the highest standard.
  • Complete staff rosters taking into account strict budgetary control, demand and holidays.
  • Issue training and re‑training as required.
  • Check inventories and replenish as required.
  • Ensure high standards and good practice throughout the Housekeeping team.
  • Complete laundry services as necessary.
  • Report lost and found property.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage for easy commute.
