The roles will support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Housekeeping and Catering services to the National Standards for these services gamma in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and 9 and Organisational Standards. To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices; and helping to maintain open, effective communication.

Main duties of the job

Maintaining a high standard of environmental cleanliness

Carrying out housekeeping, cleaning and service associated semi-skilled duties, e.g. curtain changes, removal and cleaning of fixtures and fittings, linen.

Maintaining a safe working environment.

Provide a Patient/Customer service.

The post holder is required to attend all relevant staff meetings and training sessions as required by the Housekeepingarine managerial suppliers to maintain personal competency and comply with Health Board or legislative requirements. In accordance with housekeeping policy and procedures, occupational health and health and safety procedures.
