Job summary

A leading independent school located on the outskirts of Edinburgh is seeking a House Manager to provide pastoral care and effective management within the boarding house for day pupils. The ideal candidate will have a pupil-centred approach, must be capable of registration with the Scottish Social Services Council, and will work alongside domestic staff to ensure the wellbeing and safety of students. This role includes a variety of responsibilities including cleaning, managing food provisions, and responding to queries from parents.

• Responsible for pupil care and wellbeing.
• Professional registration with SSSC required.
• Training and professional development to maintain registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent pastoral care within the boarding house.
• Assist with cleaning duties and manage food provisions.
