Location: Westcombe Park Care Home (Blackheath, SE3 7RZ). Permanent, Full Time – 40 hours per week. Competitive 30% Home Manager Bonus.

Job Description

As the Home Manager, you will lead and inspire a multi‑disciplinary team, provide outstanding personalised care to our residents, manage all aspects of the home, identify business opportunities, manage budgets and take responsibility for operating profit, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will develop strong internal and external relationships, strengthening the Bupa brand as a trusted healthcare partner with Local Authority and Primary Care Trust commissioners.

Requirements also include becoming registered with the regulator and you may occasionally need to work out of hours or evenings.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise, together with an LMCS, RMA or equivalent management qualification.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic mind to make a positive difference within a heavily regulated sector.
• The ability to develop an environment which focuses on continuous improvement.
• An effective communicator, with a confident and influential leadership style.
