A public safety organization in the UK is seeking a Home Fire Safety Adviser to conduct home visits for high-risk individuals. The role involves assessing risks, gathering customer information, and collaborating with various partner agencies to enhance fire safety. Strong communication and community engagement skills are essential. This position is critical in promoting safety and well-being among residents in the Northamptonshire area.
To undertake home visits to high, and very high-risk members of the public identified via referrals. Referrals are received from several partners including social services and police where specific threats are identified. The job forms part of Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service’s (NFRS’s) multi‑agency approach to fire safety; the post holder is required to collate information regarding the needs and risks of customers and, where appropriate, request referrals to our partner agencies to provide additional services, reduce risk and improve quality of life for residents of Northamptonshire.
