• High level of technical understanding in electronics assembly.
• Experience with ESD compliant practices.
• Competent soldering skills ideally with IPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of assembly group for electronics system assembly.
• Travel to races for power unit support.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom processes.

BasedfromourMiltonKeynescampusyouwillberesponsibleforsupportingtheoperationofAssemblyGroupcoveringallaspectsofelectronicsystemassemblyaspartofthepowerunitbuild,serviceandmaintenancewithintheEnergyRecoverySystem.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillalsobeexpectedtobepartofourtracksideteamonarotationalbasis,meaningyou'lltraveltoracesandbepartofthesupportingteamensuringthepowerunitrunsasexpected.Youwillmeetthehigheststandardsinallareasofquality,commitment,andconduct.

Knowledge and Experience required for our High Voltage (ERS) Assembly Technician role:

• Coverallaspectsofbatteryassembly,servicing,andmaintenancewithintheEnergyrecoverysystemassemblydepartmentatthefactoryasrequestedbytherelevantBuildTeamLeaders.
• EnsureallworkingactivitiesstrictlyadheretoRedBullPowertrainscleanroomprocesses
• Travellingtoanumberofracestosupportpowerunitpreparation,installation,fireupandotherraceweekendrelatedactivities.
• EnsureallworkingactivitiesarefullyESDcompliantbyfollowingcorrectgroundingcontrolsandthatappropriatetoolingandequipmentisalwaysused.
• Prepareelectronicunitsfordevelopmentwork,testingandtracksideoperationsasperthedailybuildplansfollowingtherelevantcontroldocumentationandsystems.
• AssistwithotheractivitiesdeemedappropriatebytherelevantBuildTeamLeaders
• Manageallbuildspecification,uprevisions,andcomponentlifinginaccordancewithProductionControlandTechnicalOperationsinstructions.
• Communicateassemblyandfacilityrelatedqualityissuestotheappropriatekeystakeholdersensuringfaults/NCR’sarerecordedviatheinternalbusiness FaultsSystem.

Key Attributes of the High Voltage (ERS) Assembly Technician role:

• Demonstrateahighleveloftechnicalunderstandingandelectronicsassemblycompetence.
• ElectrostaticsensitivedeviceawarenessandknowledgeofsafehandlingofESDcomponents
• CompetentSolderskills(ideallywithIPCorequivalentcertification)
• Abilitytounderstandandinterprettechnicaldrawingsandfollowtechnicalassemblyprocessesandproceduresincludingchecklistdataentry.
• ProficientknowledgeofMicrosoftWord/Exceltoenableoperationofinternalbusinesssystems.
